BRING YOUR PARENT TO SCHOOL DAY
Granada Primary IVY League parents are invited to spend the day with your child(ren) on April 24, 2013 for our Third Annual Bring Your Parent to School Day. Our four IVY League Universities (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia) will provide S.T.E.M. activities for you and your child(ren) to participate in throughout the day.
A detailed flyer will be provided in advance of the event so you can plan accordingly. If you need a letter explaining the program to give to your employer, please contact our school secretary, Ms. Angelica Tejeda at (602) 841-1403.
In honor of Dr. Seuss' Birthday, the Assistance League provided 10 volunteers to read a Dr. Seuss Classic in every classroom at Granada Primary School. A big thank you goes out to the Assistance League not only for their time, but for the donation of books, book marks, pencils and certificates for our Granada Primary students!

A PENNY SAVED IS A FUTURE EARNED!
The 2012-2013 Alhambra Foundation For the Future Penny Campaign has officially ended and because of you, it was a huge success! The Alhambra Foundation For the Future has provided over $2 million in scholarship funds since its inception. Granada Primary's contribution to the foundation this year was $15,040. Alhambra Teacher Honored by OfficeMax
Congratulations to Carin Bayer, third grade teacher at Granada Primary School,
for being selected as a winner in the OfficeMax “A Day Made Better Program.” Ms. Bayer received a box filled with classroom supplies and resources worth nearly $1,000, an office chair, a laminator, and other donated items.
This donation totaled nearly $3,000.
